This is the autobiography of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, known as Bacha Khan, compiled by Asadullah Danish Safi. In it, Bacha Khan recounts his life, his service to the Pashtun people, the Khudai Khidmatgar movement, and his lifelong commitment to nonviolence.
The book was first published in Afghanistan and became widely read across Pashtun regions. Due to public demand, it was later reprinted in Pakhtunkhwa. In 2008, the Afghan Cultural Development Association planned an international seminar in Germany on Bacha Khan and his philosophy of nonviolence, and a new edition of this important work was prepared around that occasion.
